The Kileekie herd

Kileekie Frank

Frank is a registered Traditional (OP) Hereford stock bull, health-accredited through SRUC PCHS to Elite status and Pasture for Life certified. He was the second calf born at Kileekie on the establishment of the herd, and now 15 years old he is still going strong. He is a sire of our own breeding stock and has produced bulls and females for other herds across the country.

Kileekie Model 2 - "Snowdrop"

Snowdrop is a registered Traditional (OP) Hereford cow and the only living daughter of the AI bull Paddock Nimrod, health-accredited through SRUC PCHS to Elite status and Pasture for Life certified. She is a dam of our own breeding stock and has produced bulls and females for other herds across the country.

Breeding stock

We sell registered bulls and females from proven Traditional bloodlines, health accredited through SRUC PCHS for BVD, IBR, Lepto and Johnes Level 1*, and TB testing exempt. Cattle we have bred have gone on to found and strengthen herds across the country.

Pasture fed beef

Beef from the farm is 100% pasture fed and Pasture for Life certified. Slow grown on grass and forage alone, it is beef as it used to taste, with the marbling and depth the old breed is famous for.
